Friedrich Nietzsche has emerged as one of the most important and influential modern philosophers. Established in 1972, Nietzsche-Studien is the premier publication shaping the field of Nietzsche studies. Interdisciplinary in orientation, and with a global reach, Nietzsche-Studien reflects the entire spectrum of research on Nietzsche, from philosophy to literary studies and political theory. By combining philosophical argument with historical context and textual precision, Nietzsche-Studien continues to set the agenda in the rapidly growing and changing field of Nietzsche scholarship.
Since 2017, an international team of editors whose work reflects the full range of current Nietzsche scholarship builds on the existing legacy of Nietzsche-Studien and expands the global reach of the journal:
Christian J. Emden (Rice University, USA)
Helmut Heit (Tongji University, China)
Vanessa Lemm (Flinders University, Australia)
Claus Zittel (University of Stuttgart, Germany)
The chief editors of Nietzsche-Studien are supported by an advisory board of internationally renowned scholars from eleven countries, making Nietzsche-Studien unique in its global reach:
Günter Abel / R. Lanier Anderson / Keith Ansell-Pearson / Sarah Rebecca Bamford / Christian Benne / Jessica Berry / Marco Brusotti / Joao Constancio / Daniel Conway / Carlo Gentili / Oswaldo Giacoia Jr / Wolfram Groddeck / Anthony Jensen / Scarlett Marton / John Richardson / Martin Saar / Herman Siemens / Andreas Urs Sommer / Werner Stegmaier / Sigridur Thorgeirsdottir / Paul J.M.
