Deadline for paper submission extended to July, 15th

1st. International Conference on Nietzsche and the Philosophical Tradition & IV International Workshop on Nietzsche and Kant, Belo Horizonte / Ouro Preto

The  1st International Conference on Nietzsche and the Philosophical Tradition will be held at the Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas (FAFICH) of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) from the 2nd to the 4th of October, in Belo Horizonte, and at the Instituto de Filosofia, Artes e Cultura (IFAC) of the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP) from the 5th to the 6th October, in Ouro Preto. In its first edition, the International Conference will have as theme “Nietzsche and the Kantian Tradition”.

If you want to contribute to this conference, please send an abstract of a maximum of 400 words of your paper on the above or other related topics, and a short CV (no longer than one page) via e-mail by July 15th, 2012 to nietzscheandkantufmg2012@gmail.com (Rogério Lopes/Giorgia Cecchinato), with the following in the subject box: Submission – Conference on Nietzsche and the Kantian Tradition. Proposals may be presented in Portuguese, English or Spanish. Notification of acceptance will be sent no later than 25 July 2012.

In addition, The Faculty of Philosophy of the UFMG will simultaneously be hosting the 4th International Workshop on Nietzsche and Kant, which will feature invited speakers, but we welcome proposals for 30-minute papers on all topics relevant to the workshop theme.
