Michael Krücker herewith presents Friedrich Nietzsche’s “Sturmmarsch” for the first time in a printed edition. The “Sturmmarsch” (1863) in D flat major is a very interesting alternative to the more often played master pieces of that kind. It is of a moderate degree of difficulty and due to its shortness it is near to the aphorisms – a style of philosophical expression which Nietzsche loved to use. As a short encore or opening piece it will be a welcome recovery!
